Success... Around The Corner Of Application

Hey family, you, me, and all of our fellow marketers know that old saying… “Success Leaves Clues.” What happens in our industry is we tend to get caught up in other comrade’s stories that we miss the clues all together.

What do I mean?

Let me give you my simple definition of success.

Success: The ability to do what you want, when you want, how you want, and the ability to take care of those closest to you. Now let me share one of my mentor’s stories…

My mentor tried many opportunities, followed the system, and applied all the principles just like you and I did, yet no “success.” He quit his job thinking if he only had more time to dedicate toward his opportunity that would be the key to unlock his success. This proved to be a bad move and a season of preparation (short term pain), yet a good move for the long term (long term gain).

The ridicule plus loss of respect my mentor faced was so intense from his family, friends, etc, and such he justifiably could have quit. This is a clue because it’s that type of stick-tuitivness necessary to succeed with anything especially marketing and business related.

This was the beginning of securing his financial future, and creating a complete, and total stable, free of stress lifestyle, allowing him to have fun at what he does. Did you catch those clues, or were you drawn into his story?

He was teased about having one car or “the one car” and how he had to drop his wife off to work and then try to go make something happen in the marketplace before his job savings ran out.

One day my mentor saw a Cadillac Escalade he wanted. He visited a Cadillac dealer and proceeded to find out how much it was and what the loan particulars were. Due to his maxed out credit and lack of finances at that time he was laughed at by the salesman and shown some extremely lesser appealing vehicles. My mentor left that dealership fired up, so much so in that moment of disgust he immediately began applying himself and the system principles available to him offline to generate him so much revenue…

He was able to buy the Escalade cash, have a big red ribbon tied on the hood and surprise his wife when she got off work with the new keys delivered to her while she was looking out the window for him as she did every night after work. She saw my mentor with his arms out as if he was saying to her non-verbally… “This is only the beginning, I love you, and thanks for believing in me.”

Getting caught up in the story yet? Again that’s not the clue. Imagine this man telling his story in front of 20,000 people at a corporate convention. I’m sure you can see how that captive audience received that story. Let’s also throw in my mentor’s acquired people skills and oratory ability.

Tears flowed; there was laughter, relatedness, etc. My mentor talked about his struggles, frustration, pain, anger, faith, and adventures. He talked about how he wanted to give more than he ever earned and how that was his present reality.

My mentor has been telling that story for over 10 years and the response is usually the same. The clue that most of us miss is not the specifics in the story, but the story itself. How it is shared, what emotions are brought out, and the most important fact or clue…

Telling the stories at the right time and circumstances to gain the desired results. We tend to search for the one thing, or step by step blueprint that if followed precisely will yield us the same if not greater results.

There is no such thing, because everyone is different. My mentor’s path is not mine, yours, or anyone else’s. It is his and his alone.

We can I believe, gain insight probably beyond the clues shared in this article. The key is what are your applications in the online world now that will lead you to your success?

3 Hours per Day- Article soon

Hey family Dave here, with something to challenge all of us. The challenge is to find a truly free online marketing business. I mean really free. No "Free with the shipping and handling being your only expense" crap. No "pay for some fee with some name given to hide the fact of a buy in." crap either.

Don't get me wrong, "I have no problem with making an investment in something I find valuable, and neither should you." If I go out to a nice restaurant, it should not matter what the bill is if the value... the quality of the food, the experience, the ambiance, the companianship, the service, etc. was superb. Now if you are truly satisfied with mediocre environments, and just ok service good for you. I'm not knocking anybody's choices. I'm just sharing my thoughts here.

My 30 day challenge is to locate an authentically free opportunity. The goal here is to make this available to many others for the purposes of changing their lives forever for the better. You know, more time with family, more time with spouse, being home with children, donation of time, donation of money, and anything else that can be thought of. In other words, to serve the masses. Servant Leadership is everything. By the way I'm 2 plus weeks in so far.

Keep me posted...
I read everything you share.

Book of The Month Soon

Hey family Dave here, just wanted to share thoughts on one of our soon to be books of the month series available here at Web Success For You. The Dream Giver by Bruce Wilkinson with David & Heather Kopp was suggested to me by many mentors, often. It wasn't until I heard a most recent mentor in a recorded conference call. That conference call motivated me to take action reading this book, resulting in me viewing this in an entire different light.

The sense of urgency to get through this book is like seeing light at the end of a dark seemingly never ending space. I'm not going to summize the book for you because everyone will get something very specific and different according to where they are. I wouldn't steal that gift from you. I will say this...
When I read up to page 41 I remembered what it was like to feel like giving up, and to lose faith in my goals.

You too will face the illustrations in this book especially the
"Wasteland". The wasteland for me, was time and my learning curve. For everyone this is different. My hope is if you have tenacity, and maintain your vision toward your dreams and goals the "Land of Promise"... Well read on, read on, and Enjoy.

PS: Think about this... In your journey toward your goals and dreams, along the way the experiences of some success will occur. My hope for you is that those wins will not blind you from the unbearable darkness inside all of us. If you can truly see all of the cinisism, doubt, anger, frustration, and lack of faith you felt and feel at times, humbleness will never leave you.

Be willing to give up your personal goals and dreams, especially after some of those wins, to something bigger than you. It is then and only then that your dreams and goals can and do become a part of someone elses goals and dreams. This makes them grow even bigger than before, flourish, and.... Read on, read on.

Home Based Business 3 Biggest Mistakes

Mistake number one: When people decide to build a home based business they often feel like they need to buy advertising, and have creative ways to get the word out about their business. People may use lead buying as a means to get the phone to ring. Others may pay others to assist in the launching of their business via website development. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) may be a consideration. While all of these things are a part of a home based business, they are not the first steps. Here lays the first mistake. It is necessary to have the mindset of who is my target customer to serve, and how can I generate traffic, create relationships, trust, and finally have my new leads want to buy anything from me.

Do you know what keeps your prospects up at night? I do. It’s being at a job they don’t want to be in, thinking about what that job will be like 5 years down the road, wondering if I’m even going to have that job 5 years from now, getting the bills paid, working for a month and realizing there is not enough month at the end of the money. You have got to be able to relate to your customer.

What are they afraid of? What makes them angry? Who makes them angry? What are their top frustrations? What do they secretly desire most? I’ve gone through what your going through and the reason I’m sharing with you is because I think maybe a few of the things I’ve been through can help you get past those hurdles a little bit faster. I’ve given you a great start, and I can’t give you everything I know in this brief article. Make sure you follow along for the next mistake so you too can avoid it.

Attention All Entrepreneurs

When I first started a blog I had some original thoughts about two years ago. I would like to share those old thoughts with you plus my new thoughts so you all can see what has changed...

I hate my commute to work. I Can't imagine working for someone else forever. I Still have champagne wishes and caviar dreams, but now... All that has changed since I created a business with the right information for success. I now have and am willing to share it with others. I'm looking for the perfect partners to create a win/win dynasty... Dreamers, know what they want, no excuses, always seeking to elevate themselves on many levels, giving, appreciative, coachable, willing to work. What I am not looking for is… Lazy people, Constantly make excuses and complain, Can't or won't make decisions, Want something for nothing.

What I want my business to look like and be… Did you ask yourself that question before or after you made the decision to be an entrepreneur? Let me be up front with you, for me the answer to that question was after. (I thought that I had a grasp on that question. I only had one perspective and that was given to me via the companies I was promoting.) Perhaps many of us entrepreneurs began with an idea instead of an actual plan. This feels like a work in progress that never ends.

Can you relate to that feeling of wanting to provide so much immense value to others and for others that all of your wildest success dreams become a reality? Think of the self - confidence you’ll feel. Does that feeling of accomplishment keep you up at night? Do you constantly seek to improve yourself through personal development allowing the inner you to emerge, and attract the necessary people to build your empire? You see, that is what I’m going through. I can’t sleep at night. I can’t stop thinking about it!

June 1985 is when this journey began. Since that time there has been college, gunshots, 3 plus jobs at one time, constant financial struggles (I’m talking not making $30,000 clear in one year in the state of New Jersey. There has been love, marriage, attempts at children, heartbreak, dissolution, confusion, lack of personal growth, and divorce. There was also the passing of Mom, and Dad. During all of that, the deep-rooted seed of entrepreneurship kept growing.

Couldn’t that describe most of us entrepreneurs? Yeah of course the details may be different yet the feelings and journey are likely the same. Don’t forget the numerous companies we participated in also, is part of our journeys. Did you try traditional means (outside the Internet) to grow your business? Oh, come on you know what I’m talking about… Word of mouth advertising, flyers, road signs, meetings, home parties, newspaper ads, personal contact lists, etc. I did too.

Your result was probably just like mine… Some money earned, great fun experiences, great temporary or even long term relationships, but still no dream type lifestyle changes as you envision. Let me ask you something, entrepreneur to entrepreneur. Have you ever wondered how to condense everything you have learned and acquired during your journey in one or more teaching type formats (video, audio, or even public speaking)?

This has been gnawing at me for a long time. Many of us have great ideas, write them down, articulate them, etc. Yet still no major change has occurred. If you can relate to any of this you are just like me. I have wondered what my business would be like with more relatable insight and journeys of others being intertwined yet independent of each other. What could we build together? What could we build independently? What impact could we make, instead of just coexisting with dreams not yet realized.

Imagine a dozen or more of us banded together like this. What would that mean for your business? Would you have to rely on just your own finances to make things happen, or could you pool funds in a collective effort to make things happen and condense time frames?

Would you have to create everything or could you outsource more? Aren’t these things what great enterprises possess? Let’s talk about it. Who knows perhaps we can truly, authentically empower each other. Maybe new ideas could be spawned.

You know what Napoleon Hill said about creating a mastermind alliance right? When two or more minds come together and you add more, a third more powerful, creative, intuitive mind is created. Share your thoughts, questions, comments, feelings, and let’s see what happens.

By the way, let me leave you with this…

As you compile your thoughts, questions, comments, and feelings… Write, record, and video record everything. This will create incredible content for you to later market in the form of a never - ending ability to provide more use value than dollar value.

This is the key to your long awaited dreams, not just some company or industry success. No one will ever be able to be you because there is only one you. This creates a unique marketing opportunity no one else can touch. Please leave your comments, feedback, questions, feelings, etc. because I read every single one of them

Meet you at the top…
